Pacific Rim Speech provides assessment and therapy for learners of all ages. The main areas of practice for speech-language therapists are:
-speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognition.

These impact our communication in a number of ways, from traumatic brain injury to neurodegenerative disorder/disease, to developmental difficulties and learner needs.

We approach our mahi/work with a trauma-informed lens, with experience providing services through ORS, ACC, and alongside other healthcare teams. Please see the image below for more information on how our Pacific Rim Speech therapy sessions can support your everyday participation.

Our neurodivergent & gender affirming clinic focuses on safe, positive, evidence-based healthcare, such as our IDA+plus accredited Dyslexia Structured Literacy intervention.

Communication and language needs are unique to each person; regardless of behaviours, delays, or a diagnosis.

Pacific Rim Speech prioritizes creating a safe space for your cultural identity, stories, and experiences to be heard. We welcome collaborative planning with other specialist providers, such as social workers, counsellors, and health specialists. Examples include:

-assessment or intervention planning with Psychologists
-wellness planning alongside Sensitive Claims or counselling goals
-specialists consultation and collaboration with Pediatricians
